Estate Planning Elder Law and Probate Attorney
Monteforte Law, P.C., Woburn, Massachusetts, us, 01813
Overview
You love a good plan — and love seeing it through even more. We’re looking for a detail-driven, client-focused attorney to join our estate planning and elder law team and ensure every client’s plan is not just smart, but flawlessly executed. If you’re tired of the billable hour grind and thrive on organization, precision, and making people feel truly cared for — this is your kind of role. Who We Are
Monteforte Law, P.C. is a boutique estate planning and elder law firm serving higher-income clients who want strategic, customized plans — not cookie-cutter documents. We specialize in proprietary trust solutions, asset protection, Medicaid strategies, and proactive probate guidance. Here’s what sets us apart: We’ve helped clients avoid millions in estate taxes through smart, strategic planning. We created proprietary tools like the 20/20 Hindsight Trust you won’t find anywhere else. We do 3-Year Checkups for every client — because plans shouldn’t collect dust. Our team is tight-knit, driven, and drama-free. What You’ll Actually Do
You’ll be our go-to for bringing estate plans to life after the client signs on — and for guiding clients through the next steps when life changes. That means: Handling estate plan signings and explaining plans in a clear, relatable way. Conducting 3-Year Checkups with returning clients to keep plans current. Managing and preparing MassHealth applications — including handling appeals and court appearances for MassHealth-related litigation when needed. Filing probate cases and attending probate hearings as required. We don’t handle contested probate litigation, but you’ll regularly appear in court to secure approvals. Reviewing estate plan drafts prepared by our paralegals for quality and accuracy. Collaborating with our legal and intake team to ensure clients have a smooth experience. Learning directly from Attorney Monteforte — a seasoned estate planning and elder law attorney. This is a role for someone who takes pride in the follow-through and is comfortable in court when needed. You’re the reason our clients feel secure, cared for, and confident in their future. Qualifications
Licensed in Massachusetts with 2+ years of estate planning, elder law, or probate experience. Comfortable handling MassHealth appeals, probate filings, and related court hearings. Highly organized, reliable, and committed to doing things right the first time. Enjoy client interaction, but prefer fulfillment and advocacy over sales. Ability to explain legal concepts in plain English — no legalese lectures here. Proactive, empathetic, and responsive. Thrives with systems, checklists, and team collaboration. Not a Fit If
Don’t believe the details matter — they do. Struggle with follow-up, time management, or checklists. Cannot work in-office — this is not a remote role. Benefits
401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Paid time off Training & development Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement How To Apply
Send us your resume and a cover letter that includes: Your favorite movie and why (yes, really — it’s a vibe check) A quick story about a time you saved a client from a potential mistake or caught an error before it became a problem Why fulfillment work, client care, and courtroom advocacy are meaningful to you Monteforte Law, P.C. is an equal opportunity employer.
