Planning Director role at UM Worldwide. Responsibilities

Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable and measurable media objectives, strategies, and plan KPIs. Manage and provide team leadership to the media plan process, including ideation, presentation, and implementation. Manage multiple campaigns across channels when needed. Coordinate with internal cross-functional SBU partners across the client’s business as appropriate. Work with SBU partners to ensure strategic alignment with performance-based campaigns (Search/Social/Programmatic). Lead relationships with SBUs, client agencies, and internal teams to evaluate and select the right partners for investment. Collaborate with strategy and analytics to identify appropriate data strategies to promote growth. Ensure plans deliver upon KPIs by providing measurement touch bases throughout campaigns. Monitor full budget utilization, tracking, and stewardship across reporting markets based on client needs. Implement media plans and deliverables, coordinating with strategy, buying, analytics, and SBUs. Required Skills and Experience

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Comfort presenting to all levels of clients and internal senior management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thrives in a fast-paced environment; nimble, flexible, and solution-oriented. Solid awareness of industry trends and planning/measurement models. Ability to incorporate agency tools, practices, and products. UM does not require candidates to have a college degree. Desired Skills and Experience

6-8 years of experience within integrated planning; 3+ years as a people manager. Beauty experience a plus. Collaborative mindset; effective at cross-department communication (client, broadcast buying, analytics, OOH, etc.). Mentorship and career development of team. Proven track record with client relations and growing existing business. Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Employment type
