We are seeking a
Senior Construction Manager (Sr. CM)
to lead the deployment of telecommunications equipment across assigned sites/venues. The Sr. CM will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all technical and construction aspects of the deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
Oversee all technical aspects of telecom equipment deployment and construction management at assigned sites/venues. Conduct feasibility walks and establish points of contact with venues for access and scheduling. Identify potential construction issues and develop mitigation plans in advance. Analyze and develop scope of work (SOW) and bill of materials (BOM); collaborate with RF design teams to meet customer requirements. Plan, schedule, and manage construction activities, including forecasting and sequencing of work. Manage equipment/material distribution, site access, and supplier coordination. Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets; revise/update schedules as needed. Conduct audits during build phases and through project completion to ensure adherence to standards and safety regulations. Coordinate with customer project managers, internal teams, and external suppliers. Perform safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to contractors and remote construction managers. Deliver project status reports and presentations to internal teams and customers. Support site feasibility, design reviews, and troubleshooting as needed. Interface with local governments, property owners, and third-party suppliers. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong decision-making, planning, and organizational skills. Effective at multitasking, problem-solving, and managing setbacks. Strong consultative and communication skills across cross-functional teams. Ability to enforce quality and safety standards while driving results. Tools & Technical Knowledge
iBwave software (required). Anritsu and OTDR fiber testing experience. Microsoft Office Suite and project databases (e.g., Site Tracker). Familiarity with close-out package processes and telecom construction best practices. Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of relevant telecom construction management experience. Experience with small cell RAN systems (DOT, ODAS, DAS, or similar). Background in site feasibility, RF design coordination, and telecom construction. Experience managing contractors, estimating scopes, and overseeing large/small venues. Knowledge of permitting, zoning, landlord negotiations, and compliance. OSHA 30-hour certification required (telecom industry focus preferred). Previous experience with major telecom equipment portfolios is a plus. Seniority level
