Legal Executive Assistant
with experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, attorneys, or business executives. Experience in Congressional or Executive Offices is a plus. We are looking for a proactive, team-oriented professional passionate about growing a legal business and litigation practice. This role supports a fast-paced, collaborative team, assisting with executive-level business development, technical tasks, and legal and policy analysis. Responsibilities
Manage and update the Client Relationship Manager (Salesforce) and maintain business development documents. Keep Excel spreadsheets and contact lists current and organized by logging all emails, calls, and meetings, and preparing a weekly follow-up list for the team. Monitor and manage email communications schedules and calendars with precision, coordinating with internal teams and external clients to schedule meetings and organize events. Actively participate in the business development team\'s weekly meetings, contributing to strategic discussions. Conduct research to support client business development, providing comprehensive reports and actionable insights. Prepare updates on trends among Fortune 500 companies and relevant client matters ahead of meetings. Represent the team and directly support client service by greeting visitors and ensuring a professional, welcoming experience. Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced law firm environment. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, attorneys, or business executives, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver client-ready work product and consistent follow-ups. Strong critical thinking, organization, time management, and leadership abilities; capable of managing calendars, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a well-organized, client-focused approach. Ability to multi-task, exercise discretion with sensitive and confidential information, and maintain professionalism in all interactions. Bachelor\'s degree and prior experience in a client service role is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); comfortable collecting, cleaning, analyzing data, creating pivot tables and charts, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. Demonstrated ability to generate business, engage in client outreach, and operate as a self-starter with a solutions-first mindset. Preferred qualifications
Background in logistics management or IT Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce (data cleaning, segmentation, reporting, and simple automations) Project management experience using tools like Asana, Trello, or ClickUp Expertise with sales and marketing tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo/Apollo, and Mailchimp Compensation and benefits
At Nelson Mullins, compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. Salary/Wage Range:
$66,000-$90,000
annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for merit-based raises and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off. Job details
