Under general direction of the Program Planning & Review (PP&R) Senior Apprenticeship Consultant, the Apprenticeship Consultant supports the DAS staff in the program application process for Apprenticeship, On-the-Job Training, Journey person Upgrade and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs, by reviewing applications and training DAS staff on the application processes. This posting may be used to fill future vacancies in accordance with 2 CCR. Duty details include: Review program applications related to Apprenticeship, On-the-Job Training, Journey person Upgrade and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs. Provide training to DAS staff on application processes. There is an effective date note related to salary adjustments for certain Bargaining Units in PLP 2025; refer to CalHR for more details. Special Requirements
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Maximum two pages, Arial 12pt, 8.5x11 paper, titled “Statement of Qualifications". Must provide detailed, concise, complete information.
