Graduate Princeton - Princeton, NJ Overview

As a Food Runner at Graduate Princeton, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring food and beverages are served promptly, accurately, and with a warm Graduate welcome. You'll act as the link between our kitchen and dining team delivering dishes, assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately from kitchen/expediting stations to assigned tables.

Assist waitstaff by setting tables, providing necessary utensils, napkins, condiments, and even offering refills. Clear and reset tables, helping maintain cleanliness and flow in the dining area. Act as a liaison between kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring dish accuracy, attention to modifications (e.g., allergies), and seamless communication. Check on guests addressing satisfaction, taking impromptu requests, and reporting any issues to management. Maintain sanitization and safety standards, including proper handling of plateware and cleanliness of service areas. Qualifications

Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, but not required

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 35 lbs

Positive attitude with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest service

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires
