Warehouse Mid-Shift Dry Associate

is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and organizing inbound products before they are received into the facility. The role involves ensuring product accuracy, identifying damage, and transporting items to their assigned storage locations. Operating during mid-shift hours, this position plays a key role in supporting warehouse efficiency, product integrity, and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Inspect inbound products for damage and verify counts against purchase orders (POs)

Sort and group items by description for proper slotting

Place products on racks or shelves based on predetermined slot assignments

Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures

Operate RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product movement

Open and close boxes, bales, and containers as needed

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials

Load and stack products securely on pallets

Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization

Keep the dock clear of debris and excess pallets

Receive trucks as needed and transport items to appropriate destinations

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Education and Work Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

One year of related warehouse or material handling experience preferred

Basic computer and warehousing knowledge are a plus

Must be able to read, understand, and follow simple instructions and memos

Ability to write basic correspondence and communicate effectively in English

Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and resolve issues in standardized situations

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, handle objects, and communicate

Frequently required to use hands and arms; occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds

Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Frequently exposed to extreme cold; occasionally to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and elevated work areas

Noise level is generally moderate
