Facility Maintenance Mechanic
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Mechanic to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections across our facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and experienced with pumps, forklifts, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep.
Pay:
$24-$31 per hour depending on experience
Shift:
Monday - Friday, with overtime as needed on weekdays and weekends
Responsibilities:
Complete daily maintenance tasks such as equipment inspections, readings, pump rebuilds, repairs, and installation/removal of pumps
Maintain and repair loading docks
Perform welding, cutting, and torching tasks as needed
Repair and maintain floor coating
Troubleshoot electrical systems
Replace valves and expansion joints
Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with air and electric pump repair and replacement
Welding, cutting, and torching experience is a plus
Knowledge of forklift maintenance (light repairs)
Familiarity with floor coating repair
Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures
Experience with valve and expansion joint replacement
Electrical troubleshooting skills
PVC and piping experience
Chain fall rigging and strapping experience
Ability to perform daily inspections of equipment, including compressors, air dryers, and pumps
