• Lead the development of next-generation interview tools leveraging AI, including audio-based interviews, transcription analytics, and quality of hire dashboards.

• Partner with Research Scientists and Data Scientists to optimize interview practices and tools, enhancing our ability to identify and secure top-tier talent. • Drive the product strategy for global recruitment tools used by thousands of recruiters, impacting millions of candidates across diverse geographies and roles.

• Pioneer the integration of cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to revolutionize hiring practices, leveraging Amazon's robust AWS infrastructure.

• Define and execute product strategies that deliver substantial business value and measurable improvements in talent acquisition.

• Work with cross-functional teams in building innovative solutions that significantly enhance the interview experience and recruiter efficiency.

• Utilize data-driven decision-making to solve complex problems and influence key stakeholders across the organization.

• Represent the product in high-level business reviews, articulating vision, strategy, and ROI to senior leadership.

A day in the life

A PMT in ITA begins by understanding recruitment funnel metrics and user engagement data. They lead start-ups with cross-functional teams, prioritizing features that improve candidate experience and recruiter efficiency. Mid-day involves customer interviews to understand pain points in screening and selection processes. They may collaborate with UX on wireframes for new assessment features or candidate communication flows. Afternoons include stakeholder meetings to align on product strategy and ROI metrics. The day concludes with writing product requirements for upcoming releases and reviewing A/B test results from recent feature launches.

About the team

Within ITA, the Candidate Evaluation team develops products and features that drive Amazon's hiring of top-tier candidates. The Candidate Evaluation team owns Online Assessments platform, candidate integrity and proctoring, and quality of hire initiatives to develop innovative solutions to enable evaluating candidates fairly. Our products enable recruiters to make strategic decisions on hiring, while providing Amazon leadership insights into quality of hires that Amazon makes. The candidate evaluation team also develops products using innovative AI technologies to improve hiring practices.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience managing technical products or online services

Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Experience with creating AI/ML models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
