Job Title: Project Engineer (Land Development and Design)
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay Range: $70,000 - $120,000+
Requirements
Must have a
B.S. in Civil Engineering
from an accredited university. Preferably have
EIT Certification , but not required. Experience in designing, preparing, and processing land development applications. Experience with projects in
Northern Virginia jurisdictions . Experience with Commercial, Residential, and Mixed-use projects. Ability to make well-informed design decisions based on civil engineering concepts and locality requirements. Proficiency with
AutoCAD, Civil 3D,
and
Microsoft Office . Excellent written and oral communication skills. Understanding and contribution to the preparation of
full sets of construction plans . Detail-oriented to ensure quality across all work products. Typical Duties Will Include, but are not limited to: Drafting of CAD drawings and details for site and subdivision plans. Site layout and utility design. Horizontal and vertical design of roadways. Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans. Generating hydrologic computations for SWM facilities. Performing pavement design computations. Site distance analysis. Preparing site work quantity take-offs. Coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, etc. Benefits Include: Competitive compensation and benefits package.
