A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Contract Manager in the Project Entity group, you will support the execution of contracts pertaining to the sale and service of Siemens Energy's portfolio. The selected individual will perform a full range of contractual services during the execution phase of the contract management life cycle. The successful candidate will work independently and as a member of a regionally based multidisciplinary team concurrently engaged in multiple projects.
Your primary task is the contractual and legal support in the field of commercial contracts during the execution of national and international large-scale projects (EPC) by means of analyzing contracts, identifying contractual risks, drafting and negotiating agreements, documenting, defending and enforcing claims, and advising and supporting project and site management in the large project business.

Draft,review, analyze, modify, and negotiate contractual documents, changeorders, and amendments for existing projects in execution.
Handleclaims and support potential settlements.
Summarizerisks for review and approval by management.
Providingadvice/recommendation and interpretation of contract requirements,obligations, and risk exposure to the applicable business partners.
What You Bring
Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent experience in business, business administration, orother relevant degree. Advanced degrees in Business or Law are preferredbut equivalent experience is acceptable.
2+ yearsof legal experience in a law firm or corporate in-house position.
Demonstratedsuccess in handling complex contracts, able to handle multiple projects atthe same time and claim management.
Self-drivenindividual with the ability to formulate logical and pragmatic approachesand make effective recommendations to address complex issues.
Strongnegotiations skills with the ability to support a matrixed negotiatingteam. Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, andpriorities.
Experiencewith commercial contracts desired. Experience in industrial or energymarkets preferred but not required. Ability to travel domestically andinternationally.
