Join Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), the nation’s largest dairy cooperative, where you’ll be part of a team that helps keep our production equipment and facilities running smoothly. We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Green Bay, WI plant on 1st shift.
Schedule:
1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Occasional overtime based on business and production needs

Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment and buildings to company standard.
Job Duties:
The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
PC to PLC program maintenance, troubleshooting, and control devices
Effectively use hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools
Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment
Read electrical schematics
Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical failure of operational equipment
Set up new equipment lines and equipment changeovers
Train production and other maintenance personnel
Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due dates
Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC
Strong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controls
Ensure that all processes are followed
Complete daily work order log
Complete PM’s as assigned
Follow parts check out procedure
Follow all GMP standards
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred or High School Diploma plus at least three years of related experience
Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
Experience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software)
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc.
Ability to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employees
This position may require forklift certification
