Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Production Coordinator provides scheduling and design support to all production lines within the Slater FF plant via the use of multiple software systems and various communication methods. In addition to supporting the productions lines, this position also maintains positive working relationships with various departments in the Overland Park office.

Maintain discrete jobs by entering data into ERP

Maintain inventory levels and request raw materials when needed

Release, prepare and distribute production order packets

Maintain label matrix and update customer labels as needed

Process and book sample sales orders

Update fabric filter manufacturing drawings & routing sheets

Scan and file paper drawings & closed production orders packets

Update monthly open/closed sample orders

Schedule sample order production in coordination with Sales and Customer Service staff

Work in coordination with the Master Scheduler and Scheduler

Professionally communicate with Value Stream Managers, Leads, Sales and Customer Service staff

Work independently with minimal direction from Supervisor

Determine short & long-term time frames so to organize priorities and meet demands

Education and Experience

Minimum: HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Associate degree or experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic Auto-Cad knowledge

ERP skills

Data entry skills

Microsoft Office: intermediate knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word and Outlook

Detail-oriented

Professional writing skills

Strong math and analytical skills
