Explosive Ordnance Disposal Management
Help lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate, and be accountable for leading, planning, directing, and administering visual information and technical reference activities for the Visual and Technical Information Support Branch. Provide visual and digital documentation support required for product development and fielding and archiving capabilities for ordnance related materials. Maintain a technical library for the joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) force. Manage a major portion of the program financial management and review and analysis functions, develop budgets, policies, and procedures and determine impact of system objectives. Oversee the management of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Intelligence Team to include security requirements necessary to operate in a Secret Compartmented Facility (SCIF). Manage the activities of the Technical Support Center to ensure efficient and accurate response to requests for information (RFIs) from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community, Law Enforcement, Foreign military partners, and others. Recommend solutions to systems cost control and budget problems to ensure the most effective and timely budget and cost control and identify significant program changes and provide funding audit trail. Establish and maintain liaison with key officials and personnel within numerous government and industry operations to plan, coordinate, and promote programs within assigned areas. Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading in the analysis, evaluation, and execution of visual information and technical reference activities to effectively disseminate Explosive Ordnance Disposal information to the warfighter for improved operations. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position may be eligible for Supervisory Pay Differential of up to four (4) percent. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
