Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our Tampa Electric customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures. The Manager, Asset Management Distribution facilitates the development of a standardized Maintenance and Operational Strategy for the Distribution Grid. This position works closely and supports the owner/operator departments for the Distribution Grid: Advanced Applications Operations Systems (AAOS), Distribution Control Center (DCC), Distribution Engineering and Operations (DEO). The Manager, Asset Management Distribution is responsible for the development of an understanding of risk to Distribution Grid function (safety, compliance, reliability, cost, resilience, and sustainability) and utilizing this information to provide prioritized mitigation actions (capital, maintenance, operational and other) to the distribution owner/operators. Focus Areas
The development of a clear understanding of the condition of the distribution grid and the development of a coordinated and prioritized plan to meet our goals for grid reliability and performance. Coordination across a diverse team from Technology (IT/OT), Diagnostic Center, Line Crews, Engineering and Design, Grid Operations to ensure alignment across Distribution grid operations, maintenance and capital programs. Drive the development of a proactive operations and maintenance culture that is safe, compliant, reliable, cost effective and resilient. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Establish a continuous collaborative Reliability Team process for Distribution systems which involves the development of Asset Registry, Asset Criticality, Monitoring Plans, Health Indicators/Policy, Asset Risk Profile and Risk Mitigation. (15%) Develop solutions to establish expected Distribution asset and system performance for Fault Location Isolation and System Restoration (FLISR), Volt/Var Management, reliability, power quality, system restoration. Work closely with the Diagnostic Center and AAOS, DCC and DEO to to develop these systems and manage Distribution data and computer models (Synergi and others) used to quantify Distribution Asset/System expected performance. The objective is to ensure clear understand of the expected performance in comparison to actual performance. Develop and implement Distribution Asset/System Monitoring Plans to identify the initiation and track the progression of T&D Asset/System failures. Maintain and track Tampa Electrics all electric grid (transmission, substation and distribution) reliability metrics and benchmark against industry groups with analytics support from the Diagnostic Center. Develop Asset Management programs for T&D related to management of change root cause analysis and other reliability management Analytics. Facilitates the development and governance of standards for Distribution system design, operation and maintenance which optimizes our investment and achieves our goals of safety, compliance, performance/reliability, cost effectiveness, and resilience and sustainability. Develop and communicate a statement of health and risk for Distribution assets and systems, establish methods for the diagnosis of Distribution failures and the proactive mitigation of failures through operational, maintenance and capital investment. Lead the development of industry benchmarking and engagement in industry groups, including EPRI, NATF, IEEE, SEE and others. Supervision

Florida Professional Engineers License Experience
Related Experience Required: Minimum of 6 years of work experience in electrical system design, implementation, operation and maintenance and NERC compliance. Preferred: 5 years of experience with electrical protective systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)
Required:
Working knowledge of electrical system design, reliability centered maintenance practices, continuous improvement practices and power delivery systems used in electric utilities. This position requires a strong understanding of power generation and delivery engineering principals, materials. In addition, this position requires the ability to organize, lead and resolve technical and process problems. The ability to effectively lead and motivate individuals to meet organization goals and personal development needs is required. Good project management skills, time management skills and communication skills are required. Preferred:
Working knowledge of system impact and electrical protection system studies and related work coordinating generation, transmission, and substation systems. Working Conditions
