Job Description
Old Republic Home Protection seeks a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. Our team is passionate about embracing our core values, one of which is innovation. We strive to deliver best-in-class technology. We prefer a candidate located in the Charlotte, NC, area, but we are open to candidates in other states. The candidate MUST reside in the United States.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in QA automation.
Strong experience in writing automation scripts for
Java REST APIs . Experience testing
web-based UI applications , preferably built with React. Proficient in using
Rest Assured
for API test automation. Experience with
WebdriverIO
for UI test automation. Familiarity with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure). Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, etc.). Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, request/response validation, and JSON. Experience working with version control systems such as Git and GitHub. Exposure to CI/CD tools, particularly Azure Pipelines or similar. Proficiency with IDEs such as
Visual Studio Code
and
