You will own the end-to-end growth marketing strategy and execution for Paperpal in the U.S., driving brand awareness, user acquisition, engagement, and revenue across both B2B and B2C channels. You’ll turn market insights into high-impact campaigns, optimize go-to-market strategies, and lead inbound and outbound digital and account-based marketing programs to position Paperpal as the AI writing partner of choice for the U.S. academic and research community.
This role requires strong ownership, a bias for action, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product) and marketing counterparts (Performance, Social, Events, Influencers) to deliver measurable growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized and brings a versatile background that includes digital marketing, field event execution, content creation, advertising, and email marketing.
Responsibilities
Own Paperpal’s U.S. Market Success
Take full ownership of Paperpal.com and related landing pages for the U.S. audience: manage content updates, run A/B tests, implement SEO best practices, and continuously optimize for conversions Define and execute the U.S. growth marketing roadmap, with clear goals for brand awareness, user growth, revenue, and market penetration Drive localization of Paperpal’s website, product messaging, and user experience to resonate with U.S. audiences Develop tailored positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies aligned with the U.S. academic and AI market landscape
Strategic Marketing & Campaign Management
Develop and implement strategic initiatives, including demand generation and ABM/ABX campaigns, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders Partner with central performance marketing teams to manage multi-channel campaigns (email, DSP, PPC, paid social) Engage key audiences to grow awareness and lead volume in a measurable, scalable way
Event and Webinar Planning
Collaborate with the central events team to plan and execute quarterly in-person events, along with webinars aligned to pipeline goals Manage end-to-end logistics with internal and external stakeholders to ensure flawless execution
Content Development & Syndication
Work with central marketing teams to develop U.S.-specific messaging and content: social media posts, blog articles, videos, and gated assets Manage content syndication efforts to generate high-quality leads and maintain content relevance for the U.S. audience
Qualifications And Prerequisites
5+ years in field/growth marketing, ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or AI/ML-driven products Proven success scaling B2B and B2C products in the U.S. market with strong GTM execution experience Hands-on experience with integrated marketing campaigns (social, influencers, affiliates, events, PR, search) Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or Looker Strong product sense: able to connect user needs with product capabilities and market trends Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and delivers without heavy oversight
