ISO 9001:2015 Austin, TX Full-time Employee Salary Up To $100,000 Per Year - Depending on experience This is a chance to step into a newly created role at a global manufacturer whose technology keeps critical infrastructure running 24/7 in industries like data centers, healthcare, transport, and defense. Their systems provide clean, battery-free backup power using advanced flywheel energy storage technology; a greener, longer-lasting alternative to traditional UPS batteries. They are searching for someone to take ownership of their ISO 9001 quality systems, helping to simplify what’s already in place, remove unnecessary complexity, and make the system work intuitively for a business of this size. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across engineering, production, and supply chain, as well as with external auditors. The role is hands-on, influential, and visible, perfect for someone who wants to make a measurable impact without needing a large team beneath them. What You’ll Do
Serve as the ISO 9001:2015 subject matter expert, managing the full QMS lifecycle. Lead and coordinate internal audits, external certification activities, and management reviews. Drive root cause investigations (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC) and corrective actions. Keep the QMS streamlined and practical; not a bureaucratic burden. Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve nonconformances. Coach and influence colleagues at all levels to embed a culture of quality. What You’ll Bring
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally large, capital equipment for power electronics. Practical ISO 9001 knowledge and hands-on experience managing QMS processes. A track record of influencing change and simplifying documentation/processes. The ability to balance structure and compliance with pragmatism and collaboration. Bonus:
