We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee our Maritime System Division's ISO 9001 certified facilities, playing a pivotal role in ensuring quality across various aspects of our operations. Our division specializes in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and advanced technologies in command and control. The Maritime System Division sets the standard in state-of-the-art signal processing technologies for C4ISR systems, addressing complex maritime mission requirements. Join our talented team of engineers and scientists supporting a wide range of initiatives from advanced prototypes to crucial Navy missions. Primary Responsibilities: Site QMS Leadership

Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards throughout the quality management system (QMS). Foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead the Mission Assurance team of quality engineers serving our facilities. Collect and analyze key process indicators to enhance the QMS. Coordinate ISO 9001 external assessments. Promote the implementation of Mission Assurance goals and quality engineering practices.

Sustain the QMS

Collaborate with program teams and leadership to implement corrective actions and improvement opportunities in a timely manner. Organize and conduct internal quality audits across our facilities. Train site personnel to ensure they understand QMS processes.

Provide Project and Program support

Perform quality inspections and verification testing of project deliverables. Conduct regular program quality audits, document findings, and report results. Guide programs in establishing root cause analyses and corrective action plans. Develop strategic approaches to witness testing. Review program plans and documentation for accuracy and timely delivery. Advise on proposal activities to ensure quality requirements are well defined and accurately estimated.

Suppliers

Define and communicate quality requirements to suppliers. Verify that suppliers have effective quality management systems in alignment with program standards. Monitor and manage supplier corrective action processes. Maintain an approved supplier list and oversee supplier evaluations.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with five years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with three years of relevant experience. Minimum two years of experience leading teams or projects. Thorough understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Experience in conducting quality audits, root cause analyses, and witness testing. A track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives. U.S. citizenship and capability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Ability to access military installations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as Lean Six-Sigma Green or Black Belt. Formal auditor training. $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 The pay range for this position is provided as a guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Offers are based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and other considerations.
