We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer
to design, develop, and implement advanced AEM solutions for our digital experience platforms. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement advanced AEM solutions including Sites, Assets, component libraries, workflows, and templates. Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Lead software design, conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and optimize performance for AEM environments. Set up and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environments, ensuring best practices and integration with Adobe marketing tools like Adobe Analytics, Target, and Campaign. Maintain and enhance existing AEM applications; manage deployments and migrations across Dev, QA, and Production environments. Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and actively contribute in agile development processes. Ensure compliance with coding standards, unit testing, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and secure programming best practices. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize solutions for performance, security, and scalability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (required). 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 7+ years focused on AEM/CQ5 development (including AEM 6.x and above). Extensive hands-on expertise in Java, JCR (Java Content Repository), OSGi, Sling, CRXDE, RESTful services, and API integration. Deep knowledge of AEM building blocks: templates, components, dialogs, widgets, bundles, workflows, and permissions. Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party marketing solutions. Proficiency in continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), source control systems, and Linux/Unix commands. Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Adobe Certified Expert in AEM Sites Developer (preferred).
Desired Skills
Familiarity with Cloud and DevOps architecture, disaster recovery, and load balancers. Experience with search engines (Solr, Elastic Search), e-commerce integrations, and mobile application development. Proven problem-solving skills and leadership experience in guiding development teams.
