Controls Engineer

Key Contributions: Prepare submittal packages for medium and low voltage switchgear Provide technical support to the Sales team Share project history and insights with Engineering Opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of switchgear and controls design Potential for growth into advanced roles within the electric power domain Typical Responsibilities Daily Tasks: Review customer specifications and drawings Design switchgear and controls using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Experience Required: 8+ years of experience Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology preferred Masters in Electrical Engineering considered with 5+ years experience Candidates without a degree must have 10+ years of relevant experience Technical Skills Required: AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Electrical drawing interpretation Switchgear design (low/medium voltage) Understanding of protective relays, PLC/SCADA, NEC/UL/ANSI standards Generator controls knowledge Desired: Experience with generator sets and multi-generator utility control
