Job Summary

The Customer Order Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the customer order process from entry to delivery. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely order handling, driving on-time delivery performance, and providing a high level of customer service. Acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments, this position helps improve the overall customer experience and supports business operations through detailed coordination and communication.

Essential Responsibilities

Accurately and promptly enter customer orders into the company ERP system. Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone to manage orders, inquiries, and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner. Proactively update customers on order status, delays, and other relevant information. Work closely with scheduling, production, and shipping teams to ensure on-time deliveries. Coordinate with internal departments on order filing, billing, and purchase order processing. Follow up on overdue accounts and assist in collections as needed. Log quality complaints into the system to ensure proper documentation and resolution. Ensure all issued credits comply with established quality procedures. Create and maintain product masters with detailed product specifications. Monitor inventory levels for key customers and manage replenishment orders as needed. Provide end-to-end support to customer service requests, collaborating with sales and service teams. Work cross-functionally to resolve customer concerns and align with specific customer needs. Identify potential issues before production release and help streamline processes. Recommend improvements that enhance the overall customer experience. Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. ERP system experience is highly preferred, including order entry and return processing. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
