The Role
Principal , you will lead and manage consulting engagements and be responsible for its delivery with great quality, budget, and staffing. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders and leadership and foster a positive relationship. You will also contribute to the firm’s development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing knowledge. You will be recognized as an expert in your domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting’s thought leadership in the industry.
Consulting Delivery
Lead delivery of large change programs, including IT and Business Change
Gather and analyze regulatory requirements, design and develop data and process maps to meet reporting needs
Conduct interviews/workshops with subject matter experts and process owners to elicit/document requirements
Work on change initiatives related to key regulations (e.g., Basel, CCAR, BCBS 239, CCPA, MIFID, CECL, NFRR, Dodd Frank, EMIR, GDPR, KYC, Client Onboarding, etc.)
Understand regulatory directives issued by U.S. financial oversight bodies (Fed, FINRA, SEC, OCC, FRB, CFPB, etc.) and identify impacted areas
Define workflow management and enterprise-wide reporting requirements for reports like FR Y-14, FR Y-9C, FFIEC call reports, FR 2052a, Issuer/Position Reporting, etc.
Knowledge of enterprise standard reporting solutions like Axiom, Wolters Kluwer, etc.
Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies related to Regulatory Reporting transformation
Advise on strategy and use cases leveraging industry best practices
Collaborate with client functions to assess impact of regulations on policies, risks, and controls
Manage end-to-end project execution, stakeholder communication, and mitigate engagement risk
Engage with Regulators and Internal Audit to explain methods and results
Maintain and update metadata in the enterprise data catalog to meet reporting requirements
Assist in process improvements and data quality initiatives
Monitor governance metrics and align to data governance policies and standards
Practice Development
Provide insights on new technologies and best practices; contribute to service offerings
Support thought leadership, develop assets, and participate in white papers and conferences
Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, campus hiring and training
People Management
Mentor and guide career progression; coach junior team members
Contribute to practice training activities
Leverage professional networks to attract talent
Business Development
Lead sales pursuits and develop client proposals; formulate commercial constructs
Develop relationships at senior management and CXO levels
Present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings
What makes you the right candidate
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with understanding of business, technology, and operations
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
At least 7 years of experience in regulatory reporting and business analysis in financial services
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills; ability to build relationships at senior levels
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and bring structure
Strong experience leading IT and business teams
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and commercial acumen
Experience in business development and sales cycles
Willing and able to travel up to 100% depending on client requirements
U.S. citizens or those authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not available
Even better if you have
MBA or advanced degree; certifications like CFA, FRM
Domain knowledge of banking products (deposits, loans, securities, derivatives)
Experience with industry products like Appian, Suade, Collibra, JIRA
SQL/data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies
Ability to work跨-cultural teams and support multiple time zones
