Principal/ Sr. Consultant - Regulatory Reporting – Risk and Compliance - Financial Services Location: Infosys hub offices - Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Bridgewater, NJ; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA Responsibilities
Play a lead role in delivery of large change programs, which includes IT and Business Change Gather and analyze key regulatory requirements, processes, design and develop data and process maps to meet the reporting needs of the specific regulation Conduct interviews / workshops with subject matter experts and process owners to elicit and document requirements Work on change initiatives related to key regulations (e.g., Basel, CCAR, BCBS 239, CCPA, MIFID, CECL, NFRR, Dodd Frank, EMIR, GDPR, KYC, Client Onboarding, etc.) Understand key regulatory directives issued by U.S. financial oversight bodies (e.g., Fed, FINRA, SEC, OCC, FRB, CFPB) with ability to identify and interpret affected areas/processes Define workflow management and enterprise-wide reporting requirements for reports like FR Y-14, FR Y-9C, FFIEC call reports, FR 2052a, Issuer/Position Reporting, etc. Have working knowledge of enterprise standard reporting solutions (e.g., Axiom, Wolters Kluwer) Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies related to Regulatory Reporting transformation Advise clients on strategy and detailed regulatory reporting use cases using industry best practices Collaborate with client functions (Operations, Compliance, Risk and/or Finance) to assess impact of regulations on policies, risks, and controls Manage end-to-end project execution, stakeholder communication and minimize engagement risk by proactively identifying issues and remediation options Engage with Regulators and Internal Audit to explain results, analysis and methodologies used for report generation and testing Maintain, manage, and update meta-data in the enterprise data catalog to meet reporting requirements Assist in developing process efficiencies, improvement efforts and data quality projects Monitor and report governance metrics including data governance adoption and maturity; ensure alignment to enterprise data governance policy and standards Practice Development
Provide insights on new and emerging technologies and best practices; contribute to service offerings Support thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets and methodologies Prepare white papers and participate in industry conferences, webinars, and forums Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, campus hiring and training People Management
Mentor individuals and guide career progression and development Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results Participate in practice training activities Leverage professional networks to attract talent Business Development
Lead small to medium sales pursuits and business development activities from proposal creation to contract constructs Develop and build relationships at senior management and CXO levels Present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with understanding of business, technology, and operations Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education At least 7 years of experience in regulatory reporting, business analysis in financial services Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to engage senior management and CXO levels Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and bring structure Strong background in leadingIT and business teams Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions with commercial acumen Experience in business development including exposure to sales cycles Willing and able to travel up to 100% based on client requirements U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. encouraged to apply; sponsorship not available Preferred qualifications
MBA or advanced degree; certifications such as CFA, FRM Domain knowledge of banking products (deposits, loans, securities, derivatives) Experience with industry products like Appian, Suade, Collibra, JIRA SQL and data analysis skills; experience with Tableau or similar tools Experience delivering programs using Agile methodologies Ability to work in cross-cultural teams and multiple time zones Who we are
