Job Summary The Vail Ski & Snowboard School Product Manager is a member of the Vail Ski and Snowboard School management team who is responsible for the overall quality of all program products at the location. This position will manage a family of 50-60 instructors, while at the same time be the liaison between the Location Manager, the location supervisors, and the product sales team to ensure that all products are of the quality that will ensure our guests the Experience of a Lifetime.

Starting Wage: Starting at $58,000 annually

Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities
Hiring and Training.
Managing and coaching instructors and supervisors.
Scheduling staff, assigning work, and booking private lessons when needed.
Overall morale of program staff.
Workplace safety and support of all safety initiatives.
Quality control of all product within the program, ie. 7-14, 3-6, SB, adult, private lessons.
Communication with Location Manager, supervisors and inside staff personnel.
Administrative duties.
Driving value for the company
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
High School Degree or Equivalent required, College degree – preferred.
Minimum three years as a full time instructor for a recognized ski and snowboard school – required.
At least two years management experience with the Vail Ski and Snowboard School – preferred
Minimum PSIA/AASI Level 3 Certification – Required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access) required. Knowledge of RPOS is – preferred.
Must read, speak, and comprehend English and posess writing and editing skills – required.
Excellent guest service and communication skills. Must be organized and detail oriented – required.
Knowledge of V/BC Ski & Snowboard School operations – preferred.
Prior Vail Resorts Experience – Preferred.
