Summary The
Maintenance Technician
will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on lab test equipment.
Responsibilities
Observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problem Dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts Examining parts to detect imperfections djustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments Repair and/or replacement of defective parts Testing of device to observe performance Performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems Reconditioning and repairing machine tools Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary Independently perform maintenance as per industry standards
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or automotive manufacturing environment. Experience in a test environment is a plus Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems bility to analyze problems and perform the repairs needed Utilize standard hand tools as well as simple diagnostic tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope, etc . bility to work in tight spaces Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Experience working around lithium-ion batteries is a plus
