Monthly Long Hagan Huff-Harris is seeking a licensed Massachusetts attorney with at least one (1) year of Probate & Family Court experience to join our growing team in a client-facing, business-development-heavy role. While the legal work for this position will focus on estate planning, the successful candidate will be expected to identify and convert opportunities for all of the firm’s practice areas: Trusts & Estates, Family Law, and Business Law. This is a commission-driven position with compensation tied directly to new business generated. This is an ideal opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who is energized by building relationships, leading consultations, and guiding clients through the intake and engagement process while still maintaining a strong foundation in estate planning law. What You’ll Do:

Lead consultations with prospective clients primarily in estate planning but with the ability to identify and refer cases across the firm’s full range of services. Collaborate closely with the marketing and intake teams to improve conversion processes, follow-ups, and referral tracking. Cultivate new referral sources and deepen existing relationships with financial advisors, realtors, business owners, and other professionals. Represent the firm at client workshops, community events, networking functions, and business development meetings. Develop and execute outreach strategies with the Marketing Team to bring in new clients across all three practice areas. Draft and implement estate planning documents, including but not limited to revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare proxies. File and manage probate matters, including petitions, accounting, real estate transactions, and full estate settlements. Participate in trust and estate administration, assisting with tax filings, beneficiary concerns, and distribution planning. Make limited court appearances for uncontested probate matters. Work with senior attorneys on more complex estate, tax, and asset planning strategies. Who You Are:

A licensed Massachusetts attorney in good standing with at least one (1) year of experience in the Probate & Family Court system. Personable, empathetic, and effective in client-facing consultation settings. Motivated by results and excited about earning income through commission-based work. Confident in explaining legal options across all practice areas, even while focused in estate planning. Highly organized and adept at juggling multiple projects, consultations, leads, and follow-ups at once. Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent follow-through. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and case management/CRM systems, or willing to learn. Commission-based compensation structure with competitive earning potential and full marketing and administrative support to help you succeed in business development efforts.
