Our client is looking to hire immediately an ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ENGINEER with the following experience: ELECTROMECHANICAL CAD DESIGN TO CREATE DRAWINGS OF NEW AND EXISTING PRODUCTS DESIGN AND DEVELOP PRODUCTS THAT USE BOTH MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY AND COMPONENTS EXPERIENCED IN CAD SOFTWARE, INCLUDING 2D AND 3D KNOWLEDGE OF SOLIDWORKS IS A PLUS PROTOTYPING ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS, INCLUDING DC MOTORS, ACTUATORS, AND MECHANICAL LINKAGES PRODUCT VALIDATION, DV, PV, AND APQP PROCESSES WITH DFMEA, PFMEA, AND CONTROL PLAN EXPERIENCE WITH ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION IS A PLUS ABILITY TO INTERACT WITH VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS DURING VALIDATION AND DEVELOPMENT PHASE JOB FUNCTIONS: Design and develop new products based on Product Manager requirements, using electrical or mechanical prototyping during the ideation phase Create requirements documents and lead the development of mechanical and electronic products with internal teams or external suppliers Test performance of electromechanical assemblies using vibration, cycle testing, temperature testing, and instruments such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters Install or program computer hardware, machine, or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems Read schematics, diagrams, or technical documents to determine methods and sequences of assembly Conduct root cause analysis in electromechanical components Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to existing products and processes (more cost-efficient, reliable, functional, etc.) Stay updated with market demands, customer needs, competitors, new technologies, materials, and industry developments to identify potential new product opportunities Initiate, implement, and monitor projects, working with manufacturing and related departments, and assist in new product solutions and installation/operation instruction design Collaborate with R&D to ensure drawings and products meet engineering standards Record, document, and organize all work and procedures MUST HAVE A MINIMUM EDUCATION OF A BS IN MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WITH 7+ YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE. #HIRING #ELECTRICALENGINEER #MECHANICALENGINEER #EE #ME #BSENGINEERING #DESIGN #SOLIDWORKS #DFMEA #PFMEA #APQP #CAD #2D #3D #PROTOTYPE Company Description: Premier Placements has been providing recruiting services for over 20 years.
