Jackson Concrete Pumping LLC, a leading provider of concrete placement services, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Conveyor Operator/Driver to join our team in Jackson, MI. This role involves operating and driving conveyor equipment to deliver concrete and other materials efficiently and safely to construction sites, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards. Key Responsibilities

Operation of Conveyor Equipment: Safely operate conveyor belts and related equipment to transfer concrete from ready-mix trucks to designated placement areas, ensuring precise and efficient delivery. Driving and Transportation: Drive conveyor truck to and from job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the conveyor truck before and after each trip, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and other critical systems to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up conveyor systems at job sites in a safe and stable position, perform operator-level maintenance, and clean equipment to prevent concrete buildup and maintain operational condition. Customer Service and Coordination: Collaborate with site supervisors, ready-mix drivers, and crew members to coordinate concrete placement, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting project timelines. Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including proper outrigger placement, priming procedures, and environmentally responsible cleanup, while reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents to management immediately. Paperwork and Communication: Complete required documentation, including inspection forms, job tickets, and maintenance logs, and keep dispatch informed of project status and daily start times. Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record and a current DOT medical card. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of driving or equipment operation experience preferred; construction experience is a plus. Training provided for candidates with the right aptitude. Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and familiarity with concrete pumping or conveyor operations. Excellent customer service and communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, handle 2" to 5" hoses, access elevated pour locations, and work in various weather conditions. Normal vision, hearing, and manual dexterity required. Availability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime, with potential travel up to 250 miles per day. Work Environment

Work primarily outdoors at construction sites, often in variable weather conditions. Fast-paced, physically demanding role requiring flexibility to adapt to last-minute schedule changes and challenging job site conditions. Benefits
