Computer System Analyst
Knight InfoTech, LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking Computer System Analysts to analyze software system issues and improve existing computer systems. Job responsibilities include: Contribute in the system software development life cycle such as understanding business systems requirements, designing and writing technical, logical specifications documentation, and implementation plans. Implement the system architects' designs and solve the complex problems involved in the day-to-day operations of networks. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Undertake testing of system operations to identify security risks. Research new processes that to improve system operations and functions. Design information and operational support systems. Design systems and application-specific cloud architecture for AWS EKS cloud deployments. Design and develop systems and web-based applications using Java languages such as J2EE and Spring applications. Design and develop interactive system and UI platforms for displaying specific data as per gathered requirements from business. Install, configure, and deploy the system application for the overall service by interacting with engineering, security operations, and operations specialists. Design and develop Restful server-side API that integrates with web services using Java and Rest API and implement each aspect for all the features in the web applications. Develop system Test scenarios that cover 100% of the developed code and perform automation testing for the application in all the environments. Follow Agile work methodology to always be T-shaped developing environment. Minimum requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science or any related field of study and TWO (2) Year(s) of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Demonstrate proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: At least one of these programming languages: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot At least one of these UI Development Tools: Angular, React, JavaScript RESTful API Development Tools: Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot), Postman, Swagger UI Cloud Computing Tools: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform Database Management Tools: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Testing & Automation Tools: JUnit, Mockito, Postman, SonarQube At least one of these Security & Monitoring Tools: Splunk, ELK, SonarQube Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
