Primary Purpose: Assist Maintenance and Facility Services Directors maintain existing roofing systems, provide support during all phases of roof construction to include maintaining database of roofing systems, warranty and life cycle information. Assess and schedule routine and preventive maintenance and minor construction projects. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Alvin ISD.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Construction/Maintenance experience in an educational environment preferred Texas driver's license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for Alvin ISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a good working relationship with architects, engineers, contractors, and district staff Proficient computer software skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Manages district Maintenance staff to complete construction and roofing/roofing repair projects. Manages and works with outside contractors to perform district construction projects
Experience: Minimum of 5 years successful experience in construction/maintenance management Experience in construction of educational facilities preferred
Salary:
AUX PG7/ 260 days Starting: $48,859
