The Project Manager oversees planning, implementation, and evaluation of multiple AIPHRC projects, with a focus on serving tribal communities (50%). The Project Manager also supports the CEASE research grant and related tobacco prevention/cessation efforts (50%). Key responsibilities include assisting the Principal Investigator; execution, management and evaluation of grant activities and budgets, and leading communications, all with cultural competency and professionalism.
CEASE Project Execution, Management, Coordination, Research, Grants, Fiscal Management, Communications (50%) •Assist the PI; and other grant faculty as directed •Execute and oversee the work of the project and monitor the day-to-day management and evaluation of the grant objectives, evaluation of data collection strategies, activities, progress and reports •Assist in research activities, including but not limited to: data collection, data management, management of data collectors, assist with qualitative and quantitative analysis, creation of figures/tables/charts, writing and preparation of research reports and scientific manuscripts. •Assist with scientific and non-scientific presentation preparation, public dissemination document preparation; grant preparation •Manage internal and external relationships and work on behalf of the project •Facilitate meetings and collaborations with internal and external partners •Assist with communications and relationships with funding agency personnel and grant faculty/staff •Assist in staff and student/graduate assistant oversight and management •Provide fiscal responsibility and management, assist with budgets and reports •Assist with travel arrangements and reimbursements •Work with minimal direct supervision •Provide accountability •Other duties as assigned

Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of projects focused on public health services, education, policy, and research. Develop and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and progress tracking. Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials to support project objectives. Facilitate meetings and collaborations with internal and external partners. Coordinate travel for team and self Collaborate with project managers and operations staff to identify, complete, and submit grant applications and project contracts. Track and manage grant deliverables, budgets, and reporting requirements. Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm)
Hiring Range:
$48,000-$58,000 (commensurate with experience)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Public Health or other health- related field. 2-5 years of experience in public health or project coordination. Experience working in or with tribal communities or programs Preferred Qualifications:
5+ year of project coordination/management experience 5+ years of experience working in tribal communities. Experience in grant writing and reporting. Previous experience in project management (e.g. in research, public health, or related field) OR previous experience coordinating events/activities Core Competencies:
Ability to work with staff and stakeholders to assure that project deliverables are completed within designated time frames. Experience in project management and budget development. Evidence of effective and excellent written and verbal communication. Exceptional attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, follow-through, and adherence to deadlines. Experience with use of desktop programs including Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, grant database, and emailing.
