The Speech Pathologist is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. In addition, this position is also responsible for consulting, educating and training patients and their caregivers.Posting Specifics

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
- Carrying out speech therapy evaluations, program planning, and treatments for hospital inpatients and outpatients.
- Working closely with the Physical Medicine Director in coordinating speech therapy activities with other hospital disciplines and in developing a program for department expansion, community and physician marketing, budget needs, and department administration.
- Working independently with limited contact with other Speech Language Pathologists.
