Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of Wait Staff is to ensure all patrons have a pleasant dining experience by providing high quality service in the most efficient and effective manner. The Wait Staff will also be responsible for cleaning assigned areas and may be required to wash dishes as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform opening and closing duties, as assigned Assist with the seating of patrons at tables, if necessary Advise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions Take order, enter into the POS system, and deliver to the table in a timely manner Check the quality of the final serving and resolve any issue prior to delivery Clear empty plates from table and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards Follow - up with patrons at the conclusion of the meal to ensure complete satisfaction, notify supervisor of any problems. Deliver check and accept payment Work diligently to achieve outstanding service and quality Thoroughly clean and reset all tables in assigned station at the completion of each shift Take out trash Sweep and mop dining room floor Qualifications and Experience:
Must be 15 years of age Must be able to work a minimum of every other weekend and holidays Preferred previous experience in food service
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
