The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly accomplished Head of Capital Formation to lead and scale our fundraising and investor engagement efforts globally.
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Partner, with a mandate to drive capital inflows, deepen allocator relationships, and elevate the firm’s presence across institutional and private capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a comprehensive capital formation strategy aligned with firm-wide growth objectives.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with institutional LPs, family offices, consultants, and HNW investors.
- Serve as the primary external-facing voice of the firm to the capital markets, articulating Alameda Capital’s investment strategy, track record, and differentiated value proposition.
- Oversee the creation of investor materials including pitch decks, quarterly updates, and due diligence documentation.
- Lead the execution of investor meetings, roadshows, and strategic events.
- Deliver timely market intelligence to internal stakeholders, providing insights on allocator preferences, capital flows, and macro trends.
- Ensure all fundraising and communication efforts adhere to applicable SEC regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure consistent, high-quality investor experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of capital raising, investor relations, or business development experience within private credit, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or alternative investments.
- Proven track record of securing capital commitments from institutional allocators and family offices.
- Deep, established network of LP relationships with a focus on U.S. and international markets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging credibly with CIOs, investment committees, and consultants.
- Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with an ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-stage environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and collaborative platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Notion, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with SEC fundraising compliance and private fund regulatory frameworks.
- Preferred experience or interest in fintech or real assets.
