Director of Business Development, USSF Focus - Remote | Colorado - Earth Observation. Role must be based in Herndon, VA or Colorado Springs, CO.
We’re supporting an innovative space-tech organization with deep roots in national security and advanced intelligence systems. They’re looking for a Director of Business Development to take ownership of sales and capture strategy with the United States Space Force (USSF), driving opportunities that align with tactical surveillance, space domain awareness, and ISR/GEOINT priorities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-stakes federal sales environments and has the domain expertise to navigate both military command structures and fast-moving technical solutions.

Key Requirements
- Lead capture and BD efforts for long-term, recurring opportunities with the USSF
- Work closely with internal tech leads and execs to craft winning proposals
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships across DoD/IC stakeholders
- Drive solutions that support ISR, SDA, GEOINT, and Tactical SRT missions
- Maintain classified communications pathways and forecasting cadence
- Actively engage in market intel and competitive positioning strategies
Key Responsibilities
- Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for CI Poly
- 10+ years working directly with the USSF, USAF, or DoD intelligence organizations
- 15+ years in space, ISR, and GEOINT
- Deep understanding of USSF priorities, plans, and procurement strategies
- 5+ years in full-cycle BD/government technical sales
- Strong communicator, persuasive strategist, and trusted relationship builder
