We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solution Architect – Cloud + AI Applications who is excited about helping organizations embrace innovation and unlock the transformative potential of AI on the Microsoft platform. As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Application Innovation and AI Agents, you will partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and scale intelligent, cloud-native applications using Azure, GitHub, and Microsoft’s AI ecosystem. You’ll support customers on their AI adoption journey, build trusted relationships, engage with a range of stakeholders (from developers to senior executives), and lead strategic initiatives that deliver meaningful innovation and business impact. Your expertise in AI agents, modern application development, and enterprise architecture will help shape inclusive, forward-thinking solutions that empower organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical engagements with customers across the full solution lifecycle - design, build, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate closely with platform engineers, enterprise architects, developers, and senior leaders to solve technical challenges and accelerate adoption.
- Facilitate in-depth architecture discussions and provide hands-on support to develop prototypes, pilot projects, and full-scale solutions.
- Proactively identify and remove adoption barriers, ensuring seamless implementation and long-term success.
- Work alongside Microsoft’s internal teams and partners to drive alignment and deliver customer value at scale.
Customer Centricity
- Proactively acts as the voice of the customer/partner, sharing ideas, feedback, insights, success stories and strategic/technical input with Engineering teams, Product Offerings teams and internal communities.
- Identifies patterns of feedback across customers/partners/territories/industries and leverages them to develop strategic and actionable insights. Presents business cases to program managers to influence product roadmaps and decisions, and drive initiatives as appropriate.
- Identifies and translates customer/partner problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft product and platform strategy, and explains how they meet outcomes and ROI goals. Builds relationships with technical and business decision makers and bridges security, compliance, and risk requirements across teams.
- Drives customer experience by defining conditions of success and implementing strategies to improve value realization and acceleration of transformation.
Partner Specialization
- Identifies and prioritizes opportunities aligned with revenue goals, guiding partners to grow solution utilization with proof of concept and technical pre-sales support.
- Understands market opportunities and collaborates with GPS to translate opportunities into actions. Guides partners in developing repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions, and supports initial customer implementations.
Technical Leadership
- Leverages market insights to drive upskilling and accreditations, role-models technical readiness, and mentors teams in technical and non-technical concepts.
- Identifies gaps in delivery, communicates them to stakeholders, and contributes to improvements in products, IP, technologies, and processes.
- Leads virtual teams and shares strategic and technical input with internal and external audiences, contributing to IP development and community events to elevate the Microsoft brand.

Qualifications
Required / Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years in a customer-facing role and 6+ years leading technical projects. Technical certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google).
Compensation
Cloud Solution Architecture: IC4 and IC5 ranges vary by location. Typical base pay ranges are listed as applicable in the U.S., with location-specific adjustments in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
