Overview
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team focused on modernizing enterprise software delivery processes and strengthening DevSecOps practices.

Compensation
Base pay range : $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions and guide adoption of enterprise-level DevSecOps standards.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Drive hybrid cloud initiatives with Azure and AWS, including containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Implement security-first development practices using tools such as Checkmarx and SonarQube.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support enterprise monitoring and artifact management solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps or related engineering experience.
- Proven track record designing and implementing SDLC frameworks at scale.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Hands-on expertise with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chocolaty).
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, and application security tools (Checkmarx, SonarQube).
- Programming/scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or C#.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Must be local to Chicago or open to relocation; onsite work required.

- Background in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
