Senior Financial Analyst

Location: San Rafael, CA (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role will be instrumental in driving strategic decision-making through insightful analysis, forecasting, and reporting, while leveraging advanced Excel and Power BI skills to deliver meaningful insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead components of the annual budget, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, including template development, consolidation, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses to track performance against budget.
• Drive process improvements and automation projects (Excel/Power BI) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership in decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Advanced skills in Excel (VBA preferred), financial modeling, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and business drivers.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and planning tools (Anaplan, Essbase) preferred.
