We are actively seeking a dedicated AI Scientist, specializing in large-scale language models and advanced AI architectures, to join our team. If you’re passionate about developing safe, scalable, and responsible AI solutions to drive financial transformation, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As an AI Scientist at Praxis Solutions, you’ll play a key role across the AI solution lifecycle—from research and ideation to implementation, deployment, monitoring, and ethical oversight. You will design, train, and refine LLMs, multimodal AI models, and reinforcement learning systems, while ensuring responsible AI usage in high-stakes financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize Transformer-based and multimodal models, both from scratch and through fine-tuning.
• Employ tools and frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, TensorFlow) for scalable experimentation and deployment.
• Develop strategies for model safety and robustness, including bias mitigation, hallucination control, memory editing, and responsible AI design practices.
• Innovate in research areas such as RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), multi-agent systems, and RLHF (reinforcement learning with human feedback).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver secure, high‑performance AI systems.
• Stay at the forefront of AI by tracking emerging research and contributing to publications and conferences.
• Validate models with rigorous testing, monitoring, explainability, and reliability metrics.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field
• Deep expertise with transformer-based architectures (LLMs such as GPT, BERT, RoBERTa, multimodal models)
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Direct experience in training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs in production environments
• Solid grounding in RLHF, bias/fairness in AI, and model safety auditing
• Strong research background with the ability to transform academic innovation into practical applications
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Published research in AI/ML (peer-reviewed conferences or journals)
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and MLOps tools for production-scale deployment
• Familiarity with safety monitoring frameworks, observability dashboards, and compliance standards
• Exposure to financial applications of AI, including quantitative methods, trading systems, or financial forecasting
• Demonstrated experience in mentorship, public speaking, or technical training
