American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment with evening shifts, floating, and strong Epic experience.Job Details•Work in a hospital setting on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit,•Adult patient population including those with pneumonia, stroke, fractures, behavioral health needs, and hospice care,•Responsibilities include preparation and care for surgical and post-surgical patients,•Telemetry monitoring for up to 25 patients on the unit,•Evening shifts with a typical 3x12 hour schedule from 15:00 to 03:00,•Required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation covering 2 of 3 major holidays,•Will float to all medical-surgical and rehabilitation floors as needed,•Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required,Job Requirements•Active RN license with no license hits,•Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required,•BLS and ACLS certifications required; AHA or ARC only,•Epic EMR experience required,•Must be able to complete pre-start modules,•Float experience in similar settings required,Additional Information•Will provide individualized and comprehensive nursing care to a variety of adult patients, including some with COVID-19,•Candidate will be clinically screened and interviewed prior to offer,•Facility is tobacco and fragrance free,•Limited to a maximum of 7 days of requested time off, with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's,•Holiday coverage required for major holidays as determined by the unit's rotation,•Candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered local and offered a lower rate,•Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start,),•hash,:• ,
