Duties & ResponsibilitiesReview and prioritize incoming sales orders. Create, track, and verify process orders in SAP.Identify raw material shortages and work with procurement teams to resolve issues.Schedule the daily production activities (batches, packaging, tote cleaning/prep) and prepare the relevant paperwork and labels for the shop floor.Create deliveries for bulk shipments and generate the shipment paperwork and trailer cleaning/loading instructions.Update sales orders and deliveries in SAP to accommodate changes and rush needs.Post goods receipts for bulk deliveries.File paperwork and production documentation.Coordinate locally with Environmental Health & Safety, Shipping/Receiving, Operations, and Maintenance personnel to optimize and adjust the production schedule as needed.Look ahead to identify situations where special production sequencing, prioritization, material handling, or additional manpower may be necessary to meet the schedule.Act as the site SAP expert for plant operations and collaborate within the Veolia WTS network to leverage system capabilities.Prepare for and lead the morning production (120) meetings.Champion site on-time delivery performance and late order coding.Coordinate with remote teams (e.g. customer service, commercial, purchasing, logistics) and act as the plant focal point for order related communication.Act as the site gatekeeper for MOCs for new products and material code requests.Support other plant initiatives as needed (e.g. inventory, efficiency programs).This role requires your presence M-F from 7am-3:30pm at our Addison, IL site.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHigh level of attention to detail and documentationStrong computer, math, and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and make decisions and recommendationsPossess the verbal and written communication skills to proactively communicate with on-site personnel and remote team and respond to their concerns.Education & ExperienceRequired:High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in a related fieldBachelor's degree, associate degree (two-year college or technical school), or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience working in a planning / scheduling role in a manufacturing environment.ERP experiencePreferred:4+ years related experience working in a planning / scheduling roleExperience working in the chemical industrySAP ExperienceAdditional InformationAt Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build strongercommunities.
