Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with high-risk experience to join our team. This position involves providing exceptional care to antepartum patients and circulating in C-section procedures. Our facility offers a dynamic working environment with rotating shifts to meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for labor and delivery patients.
- Assist in antepartum care and circulation during C-section procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and respond to changes.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Position Details
- Shift: 12-hour night or day rotating shifts (may be within the same week)
- Hours/Week: 36 (except for orientation week)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Scrubs: Navy Blue (hospital provides scrubs)
- Flu/COVID Vaccination Requirement: Required; medical/religious declinations accepted
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
