This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs who are committed to providing the highest standard of patient care in a critical care setting. As a Travel ICU RN, you will be responsible for managing patient care in an Intensive Care Unit, collaborating with medical teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive assessment, evaluation, and treatment for patients in the ICU.- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates and discuss care plans.- Implement and adhere to infection control protocols.- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with facility policies and procedures. Requirements: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (can be obtained within the first three weeks on-site).- Evidence of a permanent address 50 miles or more from the facility.- Minimum experience in critical care settings preferred. Dress Code: - Royal blue scrubs are required. Additional Information: - Position may involve floating to other units depending on facility needs.- Commitment to guaranteed hours over the 13-week contract period.
