American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP position requiring at least 2 years of recent obstetric nursing experience as well as ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.Job Details•Work in a rural Critical Access Hospital LDRP unit with 4 labor and delivery beds and 7 postpartum beds,•Patient population includes mothers in labor (>35 weeks gestation) and mom/baby couplets,•Labor nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1-2, postpartum 1:2-3, following AWHONN guidelines,•Nurses responsible for titrating antepartum and labor drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and others,•Required to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including every third weekend and holidays as needed,•Block scheduling is available,•Floating required to MSP/ED mainly for assisting or 1:1 patient observation,•Uses Meditech EMR and OB Trace Vue EFM system,•CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow equipment utilized for neonatal patients,Job Requirements•Active RN license (Compact or state specific) required at time of application,•Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery experience required,•Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required,•Ability to titrate and manage intravenous drips used in labor and postpartum care,•Must provide two professional references: one from a supervisor within the past 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the past 3 years,•Must submit a copy of a valid driver's license for consideration,•Facial hair must be removed if required for successful respirator fit testing,Additional Information•RNs provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum mothers and their newborns, including monitoring, assessments, and titration of medications,•Charge nurse is available every shift,•Orientation consists of three 12-hour unit-specific shifts,•Scrubs are provided by the facility,•Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs,•RTO (up to 7 days) must be submitted upfront per 13-week contract-additional time off will not be approved,•Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify and may not have worked directly for any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI/Dignity) in the past year,•Strong teamwork, provider collaboration, independent practice, and effective communication are valued in this rural setting,),•hash,:• ,
