About The Position
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound - General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in dedicated pediatric ultrasound License: South Carolina State ultrasound licensure is not required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS or ARRT certification Must-Have: - Minimum of two to three years prior experience in dedicated pediatric ultrasound - Previous charge experience required - Experience with NEC, TCD, spines, liver Doppler (all vessels), renal Doppler, renal transplants, extremity venous Doppler, intussusception, pyloric stenosis, appendix, and neonatal heads - Open to accommodating block schedule upon approval Description: This position involves performing ultrasound procedures in a pediatric setting. The daily caseload per tech will vary. The schedule consists of working three 12-hour days from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Flexibility to work additional days may be required. There is no on-call requirement for this role. Travel between various buildings or campuses is not required; all work will be in-house. Candidates must have experience in pediatric hospital environments. The facility is recognized as a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub colors are teal tops and black bottoms. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. All requests for time off must be included at the time of application, as requests after submission will not be accepted. Preference will be given to candidates with local residency in relation to the facility.
