American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for pediatric sonography with at least 2 years of dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience and ARDMS/ARRT certification.Job Details•Work in a dedicated pediatric hospital within a teaching and level 1 trauma environment,•Primary unit is pediatric general ultrasound with varied daily caseload,•No floating required; all work is onsite in the children's hospital,•Procedures include NEC and TCD, spine, liver Doppler (all vessels), renal Doppler, renal transplants, extremity venous Doppler, intussusception, pyloric stenosis, appendix, and neonatal heads,•Three 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with occasional flexibility for additional days,•No on-call requirements,•Epic EMR is used,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience in a hospital setting,•Previous charge experience in sonography required,•Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography,•BLS and ARDMS or ARRT certifications required,•Experience with pediatric ultrasound cases such as NEC and TCD, spinal imaging, liver and renal Doppler, renal transplants, extremity venous Doppler, intussusception, pyloric stenosis, appendix, and neonatal heads,•Epic EMR experience preferred,•SSN and driver's license required for consideration,•First-time travelers will be considered,•Must abide by a 60-mile radius rule for non-local status; locals accepted at a lower rate upon approval,Additional Information•Pediatric liver transplant experience is preferred,•Teal tops and black bottoms are required for scrubs,•All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November,•Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the facility before returning as a traveler,•RTO requests must be submitted with application; approval is not guaranteed if exceeding 7 days or including holidays,•Some pre-employment modules are required and must be completed before start,•Parking is available nights and weekends for a one-time fee,],•hash,:•1541195627771518533,
