How you will make an impact:

The Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD) is a ~$1.4B business within the BioProduction Group, supporting our BioPharma partners in the manufacturing of life-changing and life-saving biologics.

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role for the ~$140M Production Chemicals and Services (PCS) business unit leading business partnering support to the Senior Director General Manager of the PCS business and their leadership team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence financial goals and implement initiatives that drive the strategy of this business unit. This is a critical position where you can make a meaningful difference and drive the financial success of our business.

What you will do:

Lead finance support for the PCS business unit, ensuring detailed execution of its financial processes and controls

Partner with the PCS GM and their product management team on revenue forecasting, financial analyses and strategic decision-making

Lead preparation and development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Operating Plan (STRAP), and monthly & quarterly business reviews

Provide timely financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and optimize profitability

Understand and deploy the best methods to effectively communicate complex data and topics

Identify, communicate, and manage risk & opportunities

Participate in and lead strategic improvement initiatives within the business

How will you get here:

Education

An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Experience

Minimum of 5-7 years of business and finance experience

Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrated proficiency in Excel for sophisticated financial analysis, reporting, and modeling; prior exposure to PowerBI, Hyperion, and Cognos is preferred

Proven business partner with ability to influence indirectly and partner with leadership

Intellectual curiosity, versatility, and adaptability

Strong desire to formulate and drive operational improvements and challenge the status quo

Ability to learn quickly and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic organization

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good understanding of business processes, operations, and financial controls

Skilled in effectively communicating information to various levels of management and capable of confidently expressing independent viewpoints

Travel requirements

Up to 5-10% domestic/international travel required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $118,100.00-$194,950.00.
