This role focuses on delivering a highly satisfied customer experience, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas to support the business needs. Location: USA TJ Maxx Store 0244 Englishtown, NJ Starting pay range: $15.49 to $15.99 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities
Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers following operating procedures Promote credit and loyalty programs Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established procedures and standards Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and store as a whole Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Possesses excellent customer service skills Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Capable of multi-tasking Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation Works effectively with peers and supervisors Retail customer experience preferred Benefits
