Coordinator, Volunteer Communications & Engagement, FWC26
– FIFA Location: Miami Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Reporting To: Manager, Volunteer Communications & Engagement Description: The Volunteer Engagement and Communications Coordinator will shape the volunteer experience for over 65,000 individuals across North America (USA, CAN, MEX). You will help integrate, craft, and deliver inspiring, informative, and consistent messaging that keeps volunteers engaged and connected throughout their journey — before, during, and after the tournament. Responsibilities
Support daily operations of the Volunteer Communications team, assisting the Communications & Engagement Manager with internal and external deliverables, including drafting newsletters and emails, updating volunteer platform communications, and coordinating content for social media and internal channels. Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies that foster volunteer engagement across all program phases (application, recruitment, role offers, training, through the tournament). Support the design and delivery of a comprehensive volunteer engagement strategy, including key messaging and content pillars aligned with the tournament’s values. Help plan and implement a reward and recognition strategy that builds excitement, fosters community, and celebrates volunteers. Draft and edit content for volunteer guides, FAQs, and platform updates for internal platforms, social media, and volunteer contact centers. Coordinate content production, including graphic design requests and translation workflows (English, Spanish, French). Create editorial content for key channels such as the FIFA Volunteer Instagram, FIFA Home, and the FIFA Volunteer and FWC26 Volunteer Newsletter. Support multimedia communications (articles, visuals, and email campaigns) highlighting milestones and updates. Maintain and update content on the official FIFA World Cup 26 Volunteer website and the FIFA Volunteer platform to ensure accuracy. Assist in planning and executing volunteer events and promotional activities to build community and enhance the volunteer experience. Provide administrative and project support across the Volunteer Communications team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders as needed. Your Profile
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent level of higher education Work Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a communications function Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written Ability to see the big picture and adapt accordingly Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Languages
Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus Technology
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software Knowledge of HTML coding is a plus About FWC26
